Publisher System Requirements

In order to run QuestAgent document indexer you need:

  • Java Runtime Environment 1.4.2 or higher installed. (We regularly test indexing on Windows, Linux and MacOS X platforms.)
  • Memory: 256 MB RAM minimum.
  • Hard disk space: 30 MB for QuestAgent plus free disk space for index database. (Up to 50% of size of document collections you're indexing may be needed during indexing process.)
